I can't believe how dark it is here after being in a sunny place for a month.
It makes me sleepy O_o I'll write more when I'll finally wake up

The feature meme will be closed shortly, so if you want to join express your interest in a separate comment.
Nov 10, 2009
Greetings from Goa, India, I'm already here. Didn't manage to update #
Silmarillion-Club gallery before leaving, sorry folks.
I'll be off-line till late December.
Cheers!

Nov 3, 2009 The Feature Meme, come and join us! >^^<
I hope my watchers want to join the fun

There are many slots, so if I can't get 20 people now will make this meme after coming back in late December (soon I'll be off-line for a month).
More,
get double featured - also by ~Succubus1982 who is willing to feature art of new people she doesn't know yet. So if you're not her watcher but want to join the fun, hurry up and comment on her journal:
[link]
And sure, there is a catch - to be featured you need to make such meme, too.
Which is fun, isn't it? Let's begin!

The Feature Meme
Step 1 - You the watcher reply to this meme. There are 20 slots.
Step 2 - In order of replies I'll write the name of the commenter and pick one artwork from their gallery that I like best to feature.
Step 3 - The person who originally tagged me goes at #1 position automatically.
Step 4 - Once you have been listed you are officially tagged and have to do the same in your journal with me as your number one.
If you don't want to be tagged, then don't reply to the journal! (But its your loss if you're too lazy to make one little journal). If you want to take a part in fun replay here, copy rules to your journal.
Oh yes, one deviation feature is a must, but you can always add more if you want
1.

who tagged me
Namo Nurufantur [link] is dfinitely the best,
but I want to point you also to the
Young Nerdanel [link] - a portrait of Nerdanel with a character.
2.

Varda Elentari [link] so far. But that's an old work, there are many new paintings,
I like to point to
Twilight Dancer [link] and
In Between [link]3.

's gallery is filled with strange and mysterious creatures, again I can't choose one image only.
You definitely got to see the
Red Riding Wolf [link] and mysterious
Masked [link] and finally my fav
Sailing Over Clouds [link]4.

has got two really nice concepts in her gallery:
Who the hell is fisherman? [link]On the dark side of the world [link]5.

started series inspired by the Ancient China.
My fav in the series are
Huo Du and Da Er Ba [link] but
Xiao Long Nu [link] demands attention, too.
Finally I can't omit one old portrait to which I've got sentiment:
Feanorians - Maedhros sketch [link] - so sad, so true.
6.

has got varied gallery, I love her mysterious, uneasy b&w inks the most
[link]To pick one is impossible, just an example:
Dark forest [link]Apart inks my fav from the newest is
Moon in Melies style [link] 7.

is new on dA, give her warm welcome!
She creates in various media, here are drawings and calligraphy.
First a very interesting take on
Ered Wethrin - Death of Feanor [link] Caligraphy and Tengwar of Fëanor -
Namarie [link] Finally there are not enough of Maglor portraits in this world,
so here is
Kanafinwe Macalaure [link]
Finally a brave man!

But are you ready for his gallery?
8.

's gallery is filled with violent and controversial imagery. Are you ready for such?
Before you'll enter remind yourself what does swastika symbolize
[link] My choices: electric
Angel 2.0 [link]Would you afraid of
Christmas Demon?
[link] (description!).
Finally,
First to Fight [link] who, probably against artists intentions is a perfect Morgoth to me.
9, 10...20 - who's next?
Comment and get over here!
And better hurry up, I'm going off-line next Monday!Oh, and BTW check the new Polish band Leśne Licho playing music inspired by old tales and legends
[link] &
[link]Spiewają po polsku, więc dla Polaków będzie to zdecydowanie ciekawsze zjawisko

Szczególnie polecam "Topielicę" i "Panią jeziora"
Mar 17, 2009 Earthlings
"Earthlings" is a feature length documentary about humanity's absolute dependence on animals (for pets, food, clothing, entertainment, and scientific research) but also illustrates our complete disrespect for these so-called "non-human providers." The film is narrated by Academy Award nominee Joaquin Phoenix (Gladiator) and features music by the critically acclaimed platinum artist Moby.
